The snake encircling this sculpture - The Ouroboros - whispers that life and death, love and death, are two extreme expressions of the beauty of our experience. This sculpture, born from my own losses, was fired in the raku technique. It is part of the cycle “Through Fire.” It is available. — 🇵🇱 Cierpimy, bo kochamy. My studio is my altar. My art a ritual. Here, among the sculptures of the Great Goddess, I touch the memory of ancient women. Fire, clay, smoke - the language through which I tell the story of transformation. Today I pray to the Goddess for protection, for strength, for the transmutation of my pain. Today I offer up what is old. I close the cycle to make space for new visions, new energies, new life. I create on behalf of all of us: women who remember that the Goddess lives within their body and soul. I create so that we may have the courage to be reborn once again. So may it be 🌟

I’m still immersed in the myth of Melusine, the I’m still immersed in the myth of Melusine, the two-tailed mermaid. 🌊✨ Some of the pieces I create are vessels for water rituals, where liquid flows out through their breasts, primal and symbolic. Others are simpler figures, made just for presence and beauty, without this function. In my highlighted stories I share a bit more about these wonderful, feminine rattles, born from clay and fire, filled with clear quartz. Their bodies are adorned with oxides made from botanical materials, and traces of burned feathers or horsehair. I even give them freckles with sugar ☺️ Here, concentrated like in a lens, are the forces carried by the elements, the spirits of plants and animals. Wakȟáŋ Tȟáŋka, the Great Spirit, enchanted in a small object. Unfortunately, the current suspension of shipments to the US slows down the Great Spirit’s journey across the ocean a little. But I trust that one way or another, they will all find their people 🌀

I bought three sculptures from Marta and they arrived really quickly from Poland to Singapore. One sculpture arrived broken, and Marta immediately promised to make me a new one. Her pieces are truly unique and special. Customer service is also most incredible. Highly recommend her for amazing one of a kind pieces. Am very happy with everything. She is very talented artist. These sculptures are absolutely AMAZING! I had been looking for unique African sculptures that were not made of wood. Marta took great pleasure in creating exacting what I wanted. They are so detailed and life like. It is evident that a lot of thought and time was put into these beautiful creations. My order came sooner than expected even during COVID19.
